The TBR Tag
I spotted this tag on Sarah Withers Blog and decided it looked like fun and so I thought I’d give it a go!

How do you keep track of your TBR pile?

I haven’t figured out a great way to track my TBR pile and I am always looking for a new and cool way. I have tried spreadsheets but I just can’t find a way to do it that I like. So I am currently writing things down in a notebook and I have a cheap planner trying to learn how to use one of those. I would like to try journalling but not sure if I am reading for that step yet. 🙂 I am so unorganized.

Is your TBR mostly print or eBook?

I would say it’s about 50/50, although when it comes to picking books out to read I lean towards ebooks because for some reason I feel I read them faster.

How do you determine which book from your TBR to read next?

Now see this is where it gets as I am a very moody reader. I try and read books that I have for review for the month or maybe the next month but at the same times I have to be in the mood to read that book. I look at my planner or at netgalley to see what books are on my list and then see how it goes. 🙂

A book that’s been on your TBR the longest?

Because I am a book addict I have had books on my TBR for a very long time because I went through a huge book buying phase a few years ago and I am a bit of a book hoarder. 🙂 This one has been in my kindle the longest!

It’s been there since 2010!

A book that you recently added to your TBR?

I just picked this one up for review yesterday as I got approved so I guess it would be the newest addition. 🙂

A book on your TBR strictly because of its beautiful cover.

Total impulse by as I saw the cover (might not be beautiful but I like creepy..lol) and it was pretty cheap. I couldn’t even tell you what it was about without having to look up the blurb…lol.

A book on your TBR that you never plan on actually reading.

Is there really such a thing! I buy books with the plan of reading them…lol. My taste in books has changed so I might say some of the fantasy ones I have I might not read but I can’t pinpoint one off the top of my head.

An unpublished book on your TBR that you’re excited for.

I really liked the first two in this historical mystery series so I can’t wait to read this one!

A book on your TBR that basically everyone has read except you.

That could be any number of books but the first one that came to mind would be. Not sure why I haven’t read this one yet.

A book on your TBR that everyone recommends to you.

Well, it wasn’t everyone but Barb recommended I try an author and I seen one of her books was free so I picked it up. Does that count…lol.

A book on your TBR that you’re just dying to read.

The number of books on your Goodreads TBR shelf.

The number on my TBR shelf doesn’t reflect the true amount. I sometimes post on my want to read books I don’t actually have and I have been trying to fix my Goodread shelves to better reflect what I actually have and how I got it. As of right now 2399 books are on my want to read shelf!!! Yep, I have big ambitions…lol.

And that’s the TBR tag, I won’t tag anyone but if you’d like to do it consider yourself tagged!

  1. Gone all day wining and dining partner’s charming Momma- what a lovely surprise treat to come home and see your review of Mickey is up. You definitely hit all the bullseyes (Mabel, Minta, and Minnie!) and the black eyes (Cody and script/continuity woes) in this Mabel feature- kudos!

Warning to all: once you hear the film’s title song (included on most of the dvds) it becomes a real ear worm. I haven’t watched Mickey in months and already have “Mickey, pretty Mickey…In your smiling so beguiling there’s a bit of Killarney, bit of the blarney, too…” rolling around in my head just from reading this review 😉
